About Tommy Weaver
I work hard for each of my clients with the goal of providing the very best Client Experience. I spent 13 years managing high-end retail stores in the DC area. Over this retail career, I’ve worked for companies such as Armani, Chico’s and The Gap.
In January 2016, I came to the realization that I was getting no personal satisfaction from my current and past General Manager roles. As luck would have it, a good friend suggested I look into real estate as an opportunity. After looking more deeply into the business aspects of being a realtor, I knew it would be a great fit for me, and I proceeded to get my licenses for both MD and DC.
I pride myself on spending a lot of time with my clients, who are a good mix of both buyers and sellers. I’ll line up cleaning people, contractors, inspectors, painters, whatever the client needs. I get great satisfaction in being able to shepherd my clients through an oftentimes unfamiliar process, which will very likely be their largest, most important transaction to-date!
My approach to real estate is largely inspired by the traits and skills I utilized during a successful retail career to ensure a customer’s personal shopping experience is both successful and memorable. A unique style differentiates me from my competitors. I’m a little aggressive, I’m a little loud - I lay it all out upfront and I’m honest. A lot of my clients have the same personality, and they want answers quickly. Fortunately, I’m quick on the draw. I can’t let things sit. I think that is one of the things that keep my clients sending referrals.
